Cardinale’s Car Care has been part of the community since 1961, founded as Jim’s Atlantic by Vincent ‘Jim’ Cardinale. Jim’s parents were immigrants from Italy. As many did in that day, he left school to help support his family. Jim subsequently enrolled in the service. Upon returning to South Glens Falls he opened Jim’s Atlantic. Its original location was 84 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY. The business moved to its current location, 295 Saratoga Road. Prior to the re-location, Jim’s son Peter joined the team. Jim operated the business until 1995 when Peter and his wife Michelle officially purchased the business. As their family grew, the team expanded to currently include three of their sons, Justin, Gavin, and Cam, along with Dan, Logan, and Chrissy. Today, after 25+ years, Peter has his sights set on retirement and the third generation to take over.
